Description

An emission nebula located in the constellation Serpens Cauda at a distance of around 7000 Light Years containing several active star forming regions including the Pillars Of Creation seen here just to the right of center of the image.

This was captured late August and early September 2013. Using the QHY9 monochrome CCD/AT12RC in RGB and H-Alpha.
